School Safety Program at Wat Leam Chabang School

On 18 July, CUEL Corporate HES conducted for 4th year in succession the Hazards Identification and Risk Assessment Workshop for teachers and Student Council of Wat Laem Chabang School. The workshop put an emphasis on the hazard identification skill and how to assess a risk associated with the identified hazards. Through field survey exercises in all major activity areas of the school, the students and teachers had a hands-on experience in identifying hazards and classifying/prioritizing the identified risk scenarios. Students actively and joyfully participated in the exercises with their peers. At the conclusion of the workshop, they came to realize that SAFETY is everyone’s responsibility and that it is their duty to prevent everyone from getting hurt. Through years of practice, now the number of injuries in the school has dropped significantly.

กิจกรรมการประเมินความเสี่ยงภายในโรงเรียนวัดแหลมฉบัง

เมื่อวันที่ 18 กรกฎาคม ที่ผ่านมา แผนกอาชีวอนามัย สิ่งแวดล้อม และความปลอดภัย บริษัท ซียูอีแอล จำกัด จัดเวิร์คชอปเรื่อง “การชี้บ่งอันตรายและการประเมินความเสี่ยงด้านความปลอดภัย” เป็นปีที่สี่ติดต่อกันให้กับคณะครูและสภานักเรียนของโรงเรียนวัดแหลมฉบัง เวิร์คชอปนี้เน้นทักษะในการสังเกตและค้นหาอันตรายที่เกี่ยวข้องหรือเกิดจากกิจกรรมประจำวันต่าง ๆ ในโรงเรียนที่อาจก่อให้เกิดการบาดเจ็บได้ โดยให้นักเรียนสำรวจหาอันตรายในพื้นที่หลักของโรงเรียน แล้วประเมินความเสี่ยงโดยใช้ตารางประเมินความเสี่ยง เด็กนักเรียนร่วมกันทำกิจกรรมกันอย่างตั้งใจ สนุกสนาน และได้ร่วมกันคิดหาทางควบคุมและป้องกันไม่ให้อันตรายเหล่านั้นเกิดขึ้น การฝึกฝนทักษะเหล่านี้ติดต่อกันมาเป็นเวลานาน ทำให้ในปัจจุบัน จำนวนการบาดเจ็บของนักเรียนจากกิจกรรมในโรงเรียน ได้ลดลงอย่างชัดเจน
